The following employment announcements were made in the trucking industry the week of Dec. 16, 2024:
- Sebastian Giordano was named to GreenPower Motor Company's board of directors.
- Ryder named John J. Diez president and chief operating officer effective Jan. 1. Cristina Gallo-Aquino will suceed Diez as executive vice president and chief financial officer.
- NATSO President and CEO Lisa Mulling will step down at the end of the year. NATSO is the trade association of America's travel plaza and truck stop industry.
- Betts Truck Parts and Service (BTPS) has promoted John Devany to general manager.
- Grote Industries has hired Jim Haremza as director of operations for Star Safety Technologies in Avon, N.Y.
- Kris Goldman has been promoted to vice president and general manager of Alliance Parts Warehouse.
