The Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS), along with several of its heavy-duty manufacturer members, have been working together to host a series of factory-centric training events for heavy-duty and off-road vehicle mobile A/C technicians.
Bergstrom will open its doors to host a plant tour and hands-on training session at its headquarters in Rockford, Ill. Sept. 18. MACS says Heavy-duty A/C trainer Blake Gordon of Polar Mobility will lead a training session on the challenges of servicing A/C systems in heavy-duty and off-road vehicles.
“MACS launched the heavy-duty vehicle training program almost a year ago and response has been overwhelming,” says Elvis Hoffpauir, MACS president and chief operating officer.
Due to locating this class at a manufacturing facility, seating for the class is limited. RSVP now by registering at the MACS website macsw.org or call (215) 631-7020, ext. 306. Class fees are $75 for MACS members and $125 for non-members. Continental breakfast and lunch are included. Registration closes on Sept. 11.
