M&K’s footprint has increased to 17 locations across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Pennsylvania, including all truck and trailer center locations.
Wabash National previously owned the trailer centers as company stores and transferred dealership rights to M&K Trailer Centers. M&K has shown “outstanding performance” as a Wabash dealer in Wyoming, Mich., and Joliet, Ill., and has received awards from Wabash National for Dealer Excellence and 5-Star Status, according to the announcement.
“We acquired the Volvo truck dealership in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., on Nov. 1, 2017, and are very excited to start the year in 2018 with the execution of our tactical growth plans as we expand further into Pennsylvania,” says Ron Meyering, M&K president. “We look forward to serving the Scranton and Pittsburgh areas with trailer industry expertise and a wide range of available trailer products and services.”
Now open as M&K Trailer Centers in the Scranton area at 125 Monahan Ave., Dunmore, Pa., parts and service are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Now open as M&K Trailer Centers in the Pittsburgh area at 289 Dutch Hollow Road, Smithton, Pa., parts and service are open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Both locations will offer Wabash vans and reefers, Benson flatbeds and Transcraft flatbeds.
In addition to parts and service for trailers, M&K says it will offer truck parts and service, full-service leasing for trucks and trailers and financing at both locations.
