Record360 patents workflow pattern tools

Record360, the leading software for digital asset condition management, announced Friday the dynamic workflow feature of its mobile platform is now patented, strengthening the product’s intellectual property.

Record360’s mobile digital forms and asset condition management software enable companies to save time and cost, reduce damage disputes, and improve customer relationships through increased transparency, the company says. The United States Patent and Trademark Office recently issued Patent 14/937,763 for the feature called “Dynamically Configurable Workflow in a Mobile Environment.”

Founded in 2013 and based in Seattle, Record360 offers a mobile platform that provides customers with the ability to use customized workflows for different business segments, asset types, or transaction types. Examples include service workflows, rental workflows, and wholesale workflows, which can all be dynamically configured within the same mobile application. This functionality provides for limitless workflow options and opportunities to significantly streamline business operations, the company says.

According to Record360 CEO Jesse Buckingham, these dynamic workflows are in already use by customers in the heavy equipment, vehicle dealer and rental, and trucking industries including Bobcat, Komatsu, Nationalease, Idealease, and Lazydays RV.

“We are pleased to strengthen our intellectual property protection with the issuance of this patent for our dynamically configured workflows, a feature that differentiates our product and our customers love,” says Buckingham. “Record360 will continue building on its industry-leading technology with continued investment in product and intellectual property.”
