Pressure Systems International (PSI) has released its latest Commercial Fleet Tire Digest, which offers instructions to vehicle owners and service facilities to help protect tire casings for future retreading.
According to PSI, an owner-operator and/or small fleet can see costs as high as $10,000 to outfit a tractor and trailer with 18 new tires. And it’s that expense that leads 85 percent of fleets to retreading.
