Drive-Trainer has released a training video on how to properly install a power take-off on a remanufactured Eaton manual transmission. This process also applies to other applications, the company says.
Based on warranty data analysis, 35 percent of warranty claims derive from improper installation and diagnosis, according to Drive-Trainer. Technicians can proactively reduce these types of failures by educating themselves on the proper installation procedures. This is a critical step to extending the life of the product and reducing downtime, the company says.
