Proterra Powered introduced a new battery pack for heavy-duty trucks.
The H2-23 battery pack is in the company's Onyx Strata series and is engineered for Class 8 trucks and other commercial applications.

The new pack powers a 750kWh energy system and up to 2MWh of total system energy.
The Proterra Onyx Series will include the Onyx Slate and Onyx Strata. The Slate is a single-layer battery configuration optimized for longer, larger commercial vehicles. It can be installed below or within frame rails or on the roof.
The Strata series is designed to maximize energy in tight spaces, integrating into on- and off-highway applications.
Proterra will display the new technology at ACT Expo in multiple OEM vehicles and booths throughout the show.
