Conference organizers for Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW) have announced “Shift. Adapt. Grow.” as the theme for HDAW 2023. As industry professionals continue to face myriad obstacles, the theme highlights their resourcefulness and resilience.

This year’s event will take place Jan. 16-19, 2023, at the Gaylord Texan Resort in Grapevine, Texas, and focus on building strong networks by connecting suppliers and distributors.

Leading the planning efforts this year will be Bill Betts, president and chief operating officer, Betts Company; and Brian Rieger, vice president of America sales, ConMet, who will serve as co-chairs.

“We are very dedicated to providing greater value for all attendees. Some of the ways we’ll accomplish that goal are by increasing the amount of time available for one-on-one business meetings and adding more interactive components, such as roundtable discussions during lunch sessions,” says Betts.

“Issues like supply chain woes, inflation and labor shortages have made the need to adapt quickly increasingly critical, and we are looking forward to providing heavy-duty aftermarket professionals with the knowledge and tools to thrive in our ever-changing industry,” Betts says.

HDAW 2023 features the industry’s most successful one-on-one business meeting program, bringing together manufacturers and distributors from all regions of North America. And this year offers more pre-scheduled opportunities on Tuesday and unscheduled meetings on Thursday afternoon, organizers say.

The event will take place over four days and include a robust expo offering exclusive views of the latest products, educational workshops and networking opportunities with top executives from all major heavy-duty suppliers.

“There is so much value in coming together as a community. With the speed of change, it’s more important than ever to come together and discuss these trends impacting our businesses,” says Rieger. “HDAW exists to give participants the chance to develop new relationships and strengthen existing ones, to learn about new products and tactics in a hands-on way that cannot be done virtually. We’re looking forward to doing all of that in Texas this January.”

Education sessions planned for the 2023 event will address the latest trends, market updates and key industry topics, with more peer-to-peer learning, alongside main stage content.
