Felling Trailers announced it's 2023 Trailers for a Cause auction winner was Joe Kostreba of Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

Kostreba's $5,505 bid won the auction of a customized FT-3 drop deck utility trailer. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Pockets of Hope. Pockets of Hope provides backpacks full of personal care and comfort items to children in the foster care system.
"I have been fortunate enough that my construction business has been good and busy, and I am grateful for that," Kostreba says. "As a small business owner, I want to spread that around, bidding on this trailer is one way to do that."
Kostreba won the Felling trailer painted "Hope Blue" and adorned with the Pockets of Hope emblem. He also won the 2021 Trailer for a Cause auction that benefitted the Minnesota Fire Fighters Foundation.
"Thanks for amazing Trailer for a Cause," says Pockets of Hope Founder Lisa Schroers. "I met with a few children at the Child Advocacy Center earlier this week. They have been experiencing chronic homelessness and allegations of physical abuse. When the children saw the bags, their eyes got big and they had the biggest smiles. They were so excited as they took items out of the bag, one at a time. ... This is better than Christmas!"
This year, Felling was joined by several partners in the trailer build, including Trans-Texas, PPG, Dexter, Sealco, Peterson, Industrial Wood (Blackwood), Demco and Pacific Rim.
