Dieli to present at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue

The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA) and MacKay & Company have announced the title and description of the presentation to be given by Dr. Bob Dieli of RDLB, Inc. as part of the third-annual Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue (HDAD) conference.

Set for Jan. 26, 2015 at The Mirage in Las Vegas — immediately preceding Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2015 — Aftermarket Dialogue program will provide insight and a forward look at the heavy-duty aftermarket.

Dieli’s presentation, entitled Fundamental Drivers of the Industry, will provide a discussion of an array of topics affecting the economic outlook for 2015. HDMA says he will present a comprehensive view of topics affecting the economic outlook for the coming years, including the level and trend in employment, the level and trend of trucking activity, and the level of truck utilization as they relate to the current and future heavy-duty market.

This segment will be moderated by Bill Strauss, senior economist and economic advisor for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. In keeping with the classic HDMA Dialogue format, attendees will be able to ask questions of the speaker during the final 15 minutes of the segment.

Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue also will feature individual presenters and separate distribution executive panel-discussions with primary topics that include:

HDMA says conference registration will include printed conference books containing available presentation materials, breakfast, breaks, a networking luncheon and the HDAW’15 All-Industry Reception, all of which are intended to facilitate networking with industry peers.
