Service Opportunities Learning Days (SOLD) is now offering a reduced rate for anyone interested in attending the latter half of this month’s program on Monday, Jan. 26 at the Mirage in Las Vegas before Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week (HDAW).
For just $150, interested parties can attend all of Monday’s SOLD sessions.
Organizers say the Monday morning program includes:
- “Overview of NGVs and vehicle maintenance facilities,” presented by Marc Burrell and Sabrina Dodd from NGVi, Natural Gas Vehicle Institute. Organizers say if your company is storing, repairing, or owns vehicles operating on natural gas, this program is a must.
- “Aftermarket and Original Equipment Forum,” moderated by Tom Smego, North American Aftermarket Sales Director for SKF Industries. SOLD says the debate will include topics such as, Why should you use OEM parts? Are you changing the design of the product when using non-OEM parts? What liabilities are you accepting as the end installer? What testing and certifications are made components?
- “What was the most important tool or service equipment you purchased recently? What has made your job easier?” These questions were asked in a survey to viewers of the SOLD15.info website. The five tools or pieces of equipment most frequently mentioned will be presented by Erica Schulz-Schueller, Editor of Professional Tool & Equipment News. Each of the five manufacturers will have an opportunity to present their product.
