Keynote speaker announced for CVOC

The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA) the heavy-duty division of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), jointly with Randall-Reilly announced that Dr. Michio Kaku will serve as keynote speaker at the sixth annual Commercial Vehicle Outlook Conference, to be held on Aug. 26-27, 2015, immediately preceding the opening of the Great American Trucking Show (GATS) in Dallas.

Dr. Kaku will be using his expertise as a futurist to discuss advances in technology and what this could mean for the trucking industry at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug.26.

Dr. Kaku is one of the most widely recognized figures in science in the world today. He is an internationally recognized authority in two areas. The first is Einstein’s unified field theory, which Kaku is attempting to complete. The other is to predict trends affecting business, commerce and finance based on the latest research in science. Presented jointly by the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association and Randall-Reilly Media, the Commercial Vehicle Outlook Conference will be held prior to and on the opening day of The Great American Trucking Show. Registration begins at 11 a.m., Wednesday, followed by a networking lunch. A networking reception will be held immediately following the program on Wednesday evening. The conference will end at noon on Thursday when the Great American Trucking Show opens.
