The Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN) says available rooms are going fast for its upcoming 10th anniversary Aftermarket Distribution Summit, to be held Sept. 12-16, 2015, in Newport, R.I.
The Summit will be held at the Newport Marriott. CVSN says the deadline for reservations is Aug. 19, but is advising any interested parties that have yet to confirm a room to do so today.
This year’s anniversary Summit theme is “Navigating Smoothly in a Sea of Uncertainty,” and will again feature critical education in Best Practices like relationship selling and how to engage employees to out behave the competition. CVSN’s keynote presenter “Mr. America’s Cup,” Dennis Conner, will share his experiences in winning four America’s Cups and how he faced his challenges. Conner knows first-hand the stormy seas business owners face today and will offer tools to calm the seas of uncertainty in our industry, CVSN says. The Summit also will feature an update on the economy by one of the top five speakers in our country on economics and finance to help businesses going forward, CVSN says.
This is on top of all the other great features of the Summit this year, CVSN says, such as the President’s Award being presented to Jim Moss, Private Strategic Planning Sessions between suppliers and distributors, the Tenneco Golf Challenge at Newport National, tours of Newport Harbor on the Schooner Aurora and the famous Mansions of Newport, the International Tennis Hall of Fame and of course networking and relationship building events.
