Reyco Granning has announced the hiring of Rex Cearlock, program launch manager, and Dave Handley, senior quality engineer, as part of on-going efforts to enhance the customer experience.

“For the past 11 months, my team and I have focused on assessing what our customers encounter when doing business with Reyco Granning,” says President John Stuart. “During this process we quickly identified two key areas in which we had an opportunity to strengthen our organization and fortify Reyco’s reputation for developing quality products and customized solutions for customers; product development and quality management.”

As the new program launch manager, Cearlock will draw on his 20-plus years of experience in product development and program management to enhance the product development process and reduce time-to-market for all Reyco’s new product launches, the company says.

“To achieve a more robust process at Reyco Granning, we needed to hire someone who understands that TQM is at the heart of product development,” says Raoul Steenekamp, vice president of Engineering. “Rex has a proven track record keeping the Voice of the Customer’ at the center of all product development processes. In addition, his experience as a Six Sigma Black Belt provides a common framework with quality and manufacturing with which to ensure products are developed in a systematic, repeatable, and scalable fashion.”

Handley brings more than 35 years of experience in manufacturing to Reyco Granning’s Quality Department. Throughout his career, Handley has been responsible for leading problem solving and process improvement efforts within Quality and Operations Management.

“David has served as a Quality and Operations leader for a number of companies including a Tier 1 supplier to the automotive industry. His quality, manufacturing and leadership skills are a great addition to Reyco Granning,” says Ramin Zarribi, vice president of Manufacturing.

“We are listening to customer feedback and are committed to continuously improving our organization as we work daily to fulfill our mission to be a trusted, indispensable partner for suspension solutions,” adds Stuart.
