Karmak hosts annual user conference

11-02-16-karmakKarmak, Inc., recently hosted its annual Leadership and Technology Conference in St. Louis, Mo.

Karmak clients and employees from across North America met to discuss strategies for working more effectively and efficiently in their business while also networking with others in the heavy-duty industry. Over three days, 78 sessions were offered to attendees, ranging from courses on reporting to customer-led sessions centered around best practices.

Karmak says customer responsive was positive.

“I go to Karmak’s annual Conference because I find the networking extremely valuable. It’s beneficial for us to see how others are using the system and discuss best practices,” says Joe Harp, manager of Information Services of TEAM Truck Centre in London, Ontario, Canada.

“The customer-led sessions are a great way to share ideas, ask questions, and hear all of the different ways companies leverage the software. It is something I would encourage others to participate in,” adds Steve Van Marter, director of Parts Operations at Five Star International in Harrisburg, Pa.

Karmak says attendees also were able to interact with vendors in the industry, docSTAR and Record360 being among the exhibitors present.

“This was our first year attending the Karmak Conference and we are very excited about our new partnership. It was a great opportunity to introduce our solution to the Karmak community and we got a lot of value out of speaking with the Karmak staff and attendees. We look forward to attending next year,” says Damon Haber, Co-Founder of Record360.

Additionally, this year’s “Back to the Future” theme was inspired by the celebration of Karmak’s 35th year in business, complete with a keynote address by Bob Gale, co-creator and co-producer of the Back to the Future movie trilogy. Keynote addresses from Karmak’s Leadership Team also featured a look into both Karmak’s past and future.
