AFA Industries introduces new cylinder liners for Caterpillar 3400, 3406, 3408, 3412, C15 and C16 engines.
According to AFA, the liners feature induction hardened liners for strength and improved wear resistance. They are each plateau honed for improved ring sealing and developed with a rolled-flange manufacturing process to eliminate flange breakage. Additionally, AFA says each liner is CNC machined for consistent dimensional stability, and tested and verified to withstand the highest flange loads under which these engines perform.
The liners also are supported by AFA’s warranty, the company syas.
