It’s decision time for suppliers still on the fence about the second annual GenNext and Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN) Distributor Training Expo.

Organizers announced Monday there are now just five suppliers openings remaining for the April 21-23 event, which will again be held at the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta. The 175 distributor openings have been sold out for weeks, and Minimizer‘s Steve Hansen, event co-chair, says interest has expanded exponentially compared to last year’s initial event.

Suppliers and distributors are seeing the value of training, ” he says. “On the supplier side, the inaugural event in 2016 had 14 suppliers. [Now] there are 23 supplier signed up this year with room for just one more Gold Sponsor and four more Silver Sponsors before that is also capped out.  Limits are put on attendance to help control expenses and budget for the event.  With numbers like this, we anticipate solid growth for years to come.”

After last year’s positive reception he isn’t surprised.

“Last year’s event concluded with an anonymous electronic survey of the audience where 96.7 percent of the audience was ‘satisfied’ or ‘extremely satisfied’ with the event and 96.8 percent of the audience voted ‘likely’ to attend again in 2017,” Hansen says. “Even more, 100 percent of the audience voted that they would recommend the event to a colleague. With numbers like that, it’s obvious that the distributor and supplier attendees realized the value so it’s great to see that unfold as they tell others and the event grows.”

For suppliers interested in getting involved, all sponsorship is first-come, first-serve, and includes:

  • Classroom and booth training area space so you can network, discuss and train 175 of the front line sellers of your product in the aftermarket (each distributor attendee will have 4-6 hours on the trade show floor).
  • All meals and networking receptions
  • A 10 ft. x 20 ft. (Gold) or 10 ft. x 10 ft. (Silver) individual training area booths based on sponsor level.
  • If suppliers want to bring extra manpower above the for attendees included in the Gold-level sponsorship and two attendees in the Silver-level sponsorship, the cost is $495.00 per extra person to cover F&B.
  • Gold sponsors will receive one hour long training session for all 175 distributor attendees.
  • Silver sponsors will receive two 30-minute training timeslots for 25-50 distributor attendees.
