Fumoto announced last week that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has approved the trademark applications for the visual appearance of their Fumoto Engine Oil Drain Valve (U.S. Registration Numbers 5179055 and 5193900).
Fumoto says the significance in gaining these trademarks is that it proves that the Fumoto product design has been recognized as distinctive by consumers, and as a source of identifying the product.
