Registration is now open for the CVSN 2017 Aftermarket Distribution Summit.
The deadline to register is Aug. 10.
This year’s Summit will feature critical education in Best Practices and the theme is “Reading the Signs.” It will be held in September at the Omni Resort & Spa on Amelia Island, Fla.
The keynote speaker is Rocky Romanella and his topic is “Balanced Leadership.”
“Rocky has the rare ability to see a clear vision of the changing business landscape, the passion to develop strategies, tactics and metrics to drive desired results, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop highly motivated teams and optimized work environments,” CVSN says.
He is the author of “Tighten the Lug Nuts: The Principles of Balanced Leadership.”
Other world class speakers on this year’s Summit speaker lineup are Todd Buchholz, a former director of economic policy at the White House, a managing director of the $15 billion Tiger hedge fund, and an award-winning economics teacher at Harvard. He will speak on the “Price of Prosperity.”
Nicolas Kralev, a former Financial Times and Washington Times correspondent, who has witnessed first-hand the conduct of American diplomacy while accompanying four U.S. secretaries of state on their travels around the world, Hillary Clinton, Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell and Madeleine Albright, will talk about the political climate under President Trump and the future of U.S. foreign policy.
The final speaker will be Richard Hadden, a certified speaking professional with a focus on leadership and employee engagement. He is co-author of the Contented Cows leadership book series, and the new book, “Rebooting Leadership.”
One of the Summit’s great annual traditions is the awarding of the CVSN President’s Award. In 2017 the CVSN board of directors has chosen Robert “Pete” Joy of Phillips Industries as the recipient.
This award is given out to individuals who have demonstrated dedication, leadership and achievement over the span of their career in the independent heavy duty aftermarket.
Other key elements of the CVSN Summit are Private Strategic Planning Sessions (PSP’s) between suppliers and their distributor customers, many quality networking opportunities, an Amelia Island River Cruise, back water fishing, a spouse program and the Tenneco Golf Challenge.
