Sirco Industries appoints national sales manager

SIRCO Industries, Inc., has appointed Bill Mize as National Sales Manager. The company says he will be responsible for the SIRCO sales team, developing new business opportunities and creating customized sales solutions for customer needs.

Mize is a well-known figure in the heavy-duty industry with more than 30 years of experience. He started with Wagner Brake as a field engineer and later promoted to Southeastern regional OE sales manager. Later he developed the brake shoe program for Rome Tool & Die (Rome Heavy Duty) selling to both the OE axle level and introducing the product into the aftermarket.

Sirco says Mize introduced a non-asbestos brake block for Wheeling Brake, selling product in the U.S. oil fields along with friction material to Latin America. Mize was instrumental in sales for Marathon Brake, developing the Dana rebuilders program. He also was the Special Accounts Manager for Hercules and developed the OES private label program for brake cams.

In addition, Sirco says Mize has a proven record of facilitating long term business relationships with both customers and industry luminaries. His personality is a assets an asset that will complement and enhance SIRCO’s ability to meet the needs of our the customers as we continue while continuing to provide quality input and direction for innovative products to the marketplace, the company says.
