Gordon retiring from Bergstrom

Bill Gordon, division president at Bergstrom Parts, LLC, is retiring. The company announced his retirement on Monday.

Gordon’s retirement will bring to a close a distinguished career that included 11 years at Bergstrom, a global leader in the design and supply of climate systems to the commercial vehicle industry.

“Bill’s strategic leadership has played a pivotal role in Bergstrom’s growth and success, especially in the no-idle and HVAC parts industries,” says Jack Shaffer, Bergstrom president and CEO. “His tenure at our company has had an undeniable impact on our team and we wish him the best in his well-deserved retirement.”

Gordon was appointed Division President of Bergstrom Parts, LLC in 2015, and has overseen Bergstrom Parts in North America as well as the U.S. distribution of the company’s international aftermarket A/C parts. His other roles at Bergstrom included Global Vice President of Truck Sales, Vice President of Aftermarket and NITE Sales, and Vice President of International Sales for Bergstrom’s NITE system, the company says.

Prior to his tenure at Bergstrom, he was with Link Manufacturing, Sears Manufacturing and Caterpillar.

Along with his work experience, Gordon is a member of the ATA’s Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC), Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) and National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA). He is also former Chairman of the Heavy Duty Marketing and Sales Forum.
