ATRO Polyurethane Solutions is growing. On Monday the company announced the opened of a new 18,000 sq. ft. production expansion at its St. Clair, Mo. headquarters, as well as expanded distribution capabilities with a new east coast distribution center in Harrisburg, Pa.
“The demand for ATRO polyurethane parts that outperform traditional OE rubber parts in heavy-duty vehicles is rapidly growing. As the industry leader, this important expansion increases ATRO’s ability to respond to that demand with speed and efficiency,” says Mark Sturmon, president and owner of ATRO Engineered Systems. “The additional space at our headquarters plus our new east coast distribution center increase both our production capacity and our distribution capabilities.”
ATRO maintains an extensive local sales and aftermarket distributor network throughout North America and over 3,000 locations worldwide distribute its products. The company says the Harrisburg, Pa., location joins Seattle and the home office distribution center to insure ATRO can maintain its practice of shipping 95 percent of orders on the same day ordered.
ATRO says customers will now receive parts faster, reducing vehicle downtime and increasing productivity. The expansion at its St. Clair headquarters also gives ATRO a separate distribution and fulfillment facility, increasing space for new production lines and volume capacity in its existing plant, the company says.
