New invention designed to aid air brakes, reduce rollover accidents

Failure to keep air brakes locked in buses and commercial trucks has resulted in rollover vehicle accidents where lives are lost and people are severely injured. InventHelp says three inventors from East Palestine, Ohio, however, have created a device that would help reduce the chances of such tragedies.

The trio has developed Safety Catch specifically to prevent buses and trucks with air brakes from rolling during a hazardous situation on the road. According to the group, Safety Catch keeps heavy motor vehicles stationary to minimize danger. As such, it has the potential to save lives and prevent injuries and property damage from accidents involving buses or trucks with air brakes. Promoting highway safety in this manner, InventHelp says the product will also reduce the number of insurance claims and lawsuits filed. Furthermore, this unique invention is easy to install and operate. In addition, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced.

The inventors’ professional experience inspired the idea, InventHelp says.

“With one of us driving a bus and another, a large commercial truck, we are all keenly aware of the risk of serious accidents when the air button on the dashboard of these vehicles is pushed down and releases the brakes,” one inventor said.

The original design was submitted to the Pittsburgh office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers, InventHelp says.
