TRC Reman AMTWe’ve reached the top five of our 2017 countdown of the aftermarket’s most popular products, and earning the No. 5 position is TRC Reman.

TRC Reman earned its position with a February release announcing it had expanded its remanufactured automated manual transmission (AMT) and differential product lines. TRC has added Volvo I-Shift, Mack mDrive, Detroit DT12 and Eaton AMTs to its product offering. It also has added remanufactured Mack CRD and Detroit Alliance RT differential products.

Regarding its remanufacturing process, TRC says all of its AMTs are completely disassembled and cleaned utilizing the latest technology. The disassembled parts and components receive stringent inspection, each is measured to OEM specifications of quality.

The transmissions also receive 100 percent replacement of bearings, seals, gaskets and speed sensors, and 100 percent dynamometer testing to ensure quality and a two-year warranty, the company adds.
