According to the company, Garage Gurus is a heavy-duty training program for technicians who perform heavy-duty repairs. Now available online, onsite and on-the-go, techs can receive training on how to repair medium- and heavy-duty rigs; perform diagnostic checks; prepare for ASE certification exams; and keep up with the latest tools, maintenance and repair techniques in the industry.
The company says Garage Gurus will initially be available across three modules, including nine classes pertaining to foundation brakes, air disc brakes, and bearings and seals. Throughout 2018, Federal-Mogul Motorparts says Garage Gurus HD will launch additional training classes for FP Diesel, ASE prep classes, preventive maintenance inspections, and more.
In addition to debuting its training program, Federal-Mogul Motorparts will also feature its new Abex air disc brake rotors at HDAW. The company says the new rotors are available across eight different Class 8 applications, covering nearly 98 percent of the heavy-duty air disc brake market. Abex offers a pad and rotor combination for the most popular Bendix, Meritor and WABCO air disc brake systems.
Other new products scheduled to be on display at Federal-Mogul Motorparts’ booth (#405) next week include 14 new SKUs from its Anco wiper blade line, a Champion battery line and more new engine components from FP Diesel.
