AFA now offers a comprehensive line of replacement parts for Caterpillar and Cummins natural gas engines.
AFA says its application-engineered engine parts are designed specifically for natural gas engines. These engines operate in very high-heat conditions and AFA’s parts are engineered to withstand the harshest operating environments. Using CAD/CAM engineering and production, AFA says its NG pistons have specifically machined bowls for burning natural gas fuels under the harshest conditions. Piston rings in these kits utilize application specific materials for superior durability. The company adds gaskets are manufactured in AFA manufacturing facilities using high-temperature materials specific to the natural gas engine environments.
AFA says some of the competition use non-application specific materials that will cause premature wear that will ultimately diminish performance and hours of use.
