ABS, transmission codes added to RepairConnect

Mitchell 1 announced Tuesday that the latest update to the TruckSeries truck repair information software, ABS and Transmission codes have been added to the RepairConnect module.

Now, in addition to engine diagnostic code information, Mitchell 1 says users also have immediate access to ABS and transmission codes and related repair information in a single lookup. The company says the addition of these codes provides even greater value to shops, helping technicians work more efficiently to increase overall productivity and accuracy.

The company says the tool works as follows: When selecting a vehicle and applicable Engine, ABS and/or Transmission, the code selection dropdown will display the SAE, OBD II, or OEM diagnostic code lists. There is nothing new to learn. In fact, the company says if a user is already familiar with RepairConnect, they will simply notice the new DTC system ID and Name spelled out in the selections.

Mitchell 1 also notes that in order for the ABS and transmission codes to display within the RepairConnect module, these components must be chosen in the Options tab at the time of vehicle selection.
