The American Council of Frame and Alignment Specialists (ACOFAS) has announced its next technician training clinic will be held May 1-2, 2018, in Fort Wayne Ind.

The sessions will be held at Frame Service, 4210 Goshen Rd. (U.S. Highway 33 North) Fort Wayne, with educational presentations during the day on May 1 and May 2 by Barry Ernst of Frame Service and Andy Blair, a retired police and DOT officer who will provided DOT-based inspection training.

Blair started DOT Safety Checkups in 2011 as he saw a need to help companies understand their role in the area of transportation regulations and compliance. He continues to provide informative seminars, safety meetings, mock DOT audits, and Data Q challenges, all from the perspective of both an officer and as a member of private industry. ACOFAS says Blair’s discussion during the upcoming clinic will focus on these key areas for service centers.

ACOFAS says hotel accommodations may be made at Don Hall’s Guesthouse Hotel, 1313 West Washington Center Rd. in Ft. Wayne. ACOFAS says a block of rooms have been reserved under the name “ACOFAS” at a cost of $99 per night (breakfast buffet included).
