In remarks associated with the gathering, Stertil-Koni USA Inc. DellAmore adds that discussions during the annual assemblage focused, in part, on recent product enhancements that already are delivering strong results in the marketplace. Of note is the continuous recess lifting system, now available as an option on the company’s inground telescopic piston lifting system, the DiamondLift.
“Here’s what’s really special: Continuous recess helps solve the challenge of safely and efficiently lifting many low-clearance, heavy-duty vehicles. How? The movable lifting unit travels horizontally, while fully recessed below floor level, making it easier and safer to lift heavy-duty vehicles. That’s a first for an inground piston lift in North America – and our customers are reaping the benefits,” says DellAmore.
Another point of focus at the meeting was the further rollout of the Stertil-Koni touch screen control console, known as the ebright Smart Control System. First introduced on the company’s mobile column lifts, ebright – which is a full-color, 7-in. notepad-style interface – also is on the ultra-shallow scissor EcoLift and now on DiamondLift.
Meeting topics also included new and expanded initiatives in green lifting technologies. “We are particularly proud of the success of our EarthLift mobile column lift,” continues DellAmore. “It is recognized as the industry’s first ‘green’ mobile column lift. Further, EarthLift columns are made from components that are 98 percent recyclable. It uses biodegradable oil and the system features an Active Energy Retrieval System (AERS) that delivers 35 percent more lifting cycles at maximum load.”
DellAmore adds, “It has been an exciting year in product development and meeting our customers’ needs. But we know there is much more for us to accomplish and, honestly, we can’t wait to show the market even greater innovation and choice in the period ahead.”
