RoadWorks Manufacturing has named Daniel and Phyllis Snow of Harrison, Ark., as brand ambassadors. The Snows, also known by their CB handles “Doc” and “Tinkerbell,” are well-known throughout the heavy-duty trucking world as the owners of “The Goose,” a distinctive jade green metallic 1996 Freightliner Classic XL.
The Snows have more than 50 years of combined experience. Daniel first fell in love with heavy-duty trucking watching his older brother and started driving professionally in 1980. The Snows made their debut as a professional driving team in 2004 after Daniel, a certified CDL training and safety instructor, taught Phyllis to drive.
“The Goose” has been featured in the Shell Rotella Super Rigs calendar and most recently earned “Best of Show for 2003 and Older Combination” and “Best of Show: Interior Custom Sleeper” honors at the 39th annual Truckers Jamboree in Walcott, Iowa. The name “The Goose” continues a Snow family tradition, which began with their youngest son who drives a truck named “The Duck.” In 2006, Daniel witnessed a single goose flying amongst a flock of ducks. Soon after, “The Goose” was born. Since then, both trucks have competed in truck beauty contests and worked across the country, side-by-side.
Representing RoadWorks Manufacturing at heavy-duty trucking shows throughout the United States, the newly named brand ambassadors will offer insights about RoadWorks’ American-made stainless steel accessories and the RoadWorks Manufacturing Detail Products to take care of them.
