TitanX Engine Cooling has appointed Thomas Andersson CEO, effective Nov. 1, 2018. He succeeds Stefan Nordström, who leaves the company at his own request, according to an announcement.

Andersson currently is head of group operations at Consolis. Between 2012 and 2016, he was chief operating officer at TitanX. Previously, he had leading positions at Volvo Cars Engine and Volvo Group Powertrain.

“Thomas Andersson’s customer background and operations experience were key factors in the selection process, and his deep knowledge of the company makes for a stable and seamless handover,” says Praveen Kadle, TitanX chairman. “We thank Stefan Nordström for leading the company during its remarkable development.”

During Nordström’s eight years at the helm, TitanX has transformed from a small company with three individual factories carved out from Valeo and owned by EQT into a mid-size global company with seven factories on four continents. It is now a leader in powertrain cooling equipment to commercial vehicles, since 2016 under the ownership of Tata AutoComp Systems Limited, according to the company.
