The Heavy Vehicle Parts Group of Genuine Parts Company (GPC) announces the acquisition of Stone Truck Parts, effective June 1, 2017.
Stone is a multi-location commercial organization engaged in the distribution of heavy-duty truck parts and accessories. Based near Raleigh, N.C., Stone operates four locations in North Carolina. These stores provide both delivery and walk in sales and service of heavy duty accessories, replacement parts, and performance parts. In business since 2003, Stone serves the needs of both large trucking fleets and the individual owner-operator from stores located in Charlotte, Garner, Greensboro, and Wallace.
This is the second store acquisition GPC has completed in the past year, acquiring six Global Parts Inc., stores in Georgia, Florida, and Kentucky in 2016. In addition, the company also owns and operates another 14 Traction stores in California, Nevada, Michigan and Maine.
The Stone Truck Parts name and management team will remain in place, and their business will continue to operate as it has been the last 14 years.
