Ron Fleischacker from HDA Truck Pride dominated the final table this year and outlasted 80 other industry poker players to win GenNext’s Fourth Annual Industry No-Limit Hold’Em Poker Showdown in Las Vegas.

Fleischaker was representing Team SKF, who also placed two others in the final five spots on the way to winning the team championship.

Fleischacker, who entered the final table with a significant chip lead, finished off the final table of nine players in a record low number of eight hands, with multiple players bowing out at the same time.  The rest of the top five finalists were second place Art Belfry, A-1 Truck Parts representing Team SKF; Robin Rogers, Fort Garry Industries, representing Team Tectran;  David Saline, DRIVE, representing Team Tectran, and Ricky Groover, SKF, and team captain of Team SKF.

This year’s team sponsors included Bendix, Donaldson, Dorman, Federal-Mogul, Grote, Kit Masters, MEI, Meritor, Phillips Industries, SKF, Tectran, and Truck-Lite.

“This was another great tournament for GenNext, giving us a significant amount visibility in front of the many industry friends and colleagues in Las Vegas,” says GenNext Chairman Nick Seidel of Action Truck Parts.  “Everyone always has a great time playing in this tournament, and we always see this as the perfect fun ending to a long week of work meetings.”
