Tectran says the LIFELine slider bar attaches to an existing slider bar and holds tractor-trailer connections out and away from the back of the cab. This prevents connections from hitting the cab and causing damage to the paint, Tectran says, which is costly to repair. The company also notes it has introduced two part LIFELine part numbers to fit different sized existing slider bars.
