A basketball legend will present the keynote address at the 2019 VIPAR Heavy Duty IMPACT Conference in San Antonio later this month.
The organization announced Monday that Dick Vitale, college basketball analyst for ABC Sports and ESPN, will provide the conference’s keynote address on Thursday, Oct. 24. Known as college basketball’s top analyst and ambassador, Vitale will share his motivational approach to facing challenges and opportunities head-on to win the “Game of Life.”
VIPAR Heavy Duty says Vitale’s address will draw on lessons learned throughout his sports career as an educator, coach and analyst and how they apply to the business world.
“Dick Vitale’s passion, optimism and enthusiastic style have made a significant impact on the sports world, to those around him and through his many philanthropic causes,” says Jeff Paul, vice president of marketing, VIPAR Heavy Duty. “His thorough knowledge of the game and dedication to his craft and his community is a sentiment that will resonate with our stockholders, supplier partners and industry associates. The VIPAR Heavy Duty IMPACT Conference to be held Oct. 20-25, 2019, at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country in San Antonio, Texas. VIPAR Heavy Duty says the conference will provide an opportunity for stockholders, suppliers and industry associates to come together to participate in open dialogue and share best practices and insights on opportunities and challenges in the independent heavy-duty aftermarket.
