Diesel Laptops, a distributor for commercial truck and off-highway diesel diagnostic software and hardware, will host a virtual trade show April 29-30, 2020.
In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, a lot of industries have come to a halt while the trucking industry continues to move forward which is why the theme for this year’s show is “Keep it Moving!” Diesel Laptops says.
While the event will be taking place online, it will still behave much like a traditional, in-person trade show. Attendees will be able to visit booths and speak live to representatives through a chat feature. They’ll also have the ability to save product information, videos, case studies and other marketing collateral through a digital briefcase to review even after the show ends. There also will be live and pre-recorded presentations, Q&A sessions and breakout sessions for attendees and sponsors to participate in, organizers say.
“Everyone is facing a bout of uncertainty during this global pandemic. That’s why it’s so important for us to come together as an industry to move forward and strengthen this battle against COVID-19,” says Tyler Robertson, Diesel Laptops founder and CEO.
The goal of this event is to allow sponsors and attendees the opportunity to meet and discuss problems and solutions in the world of truck repair while also staying safe and healthy. With health and safety being so important during this current climate, Diesel Laptops will be donating all of the proceeds from the Virtual Truck Repair Expo to the American Red Cross, the company says.
