West Michigan International, K&R Truck Sales and Idealease of West Michigan recently promoted a parts sales campaign to raise money for Lori’s Voice and Hand2Hand during the months of May and June this year. They donated 10 percent of their profits to these two organizations. The annual campaign raised $12,500 for a total donation. Lori’s Voice and Hand2Hand each received $6,250.
Every year, the companies hold this special parts campaign and many customers, suppliers, and employees get involved to help raise money for the selected charities. There are a different group of charities selected each year and many are suggested by employees. This year there were six suppliers that had a share in the campaign: Bendix, Cummins Filtration, Delco, Hendrickson, International/Fleetrite, and Shell.
“Every year, we look forward to our special promotion period. It is a good reminder about the importance of giving back to the community. We feel grateful to be able to have a share in giving back,” says Ed Rietman, dealer principal, West Michigan International/ K&R Truck Sales/Idealease of West Michigan. “We want to thank our customers, employees and supplier partners that support this annual charity campaign,” said Ed Rietman.
