Dayton Parts teams up with Wyakin Warrior Foundation

Dayton Parts, LLC, is teaming up with the Wyakin Warrior Foundation.

The company announced today it will donate 25 cents of every spring purchased from Dayton Parts this month to the Wyakin Warriors in honor to support deserving service men and women.

Dayton Parts says the donation idea came from the company’s desire to support a charity helping the men and women who defend and protect the freedom of the United States.

“Dayton is honored to support and contribute to such a worthy and important foundation,” says Walt Sherbourne, vice president, marketing at Dayton Parts “November 11, 2016, is Veteran’s Day and we thought what a great month to honor and give back to our military.”

The Wyakin Warrior foundation provides mentoring, financial support and helps tailor the veteran’s journey leading to advanced education and employment. Over the next several years, there will be more than 200,000 service members who will be transitioning from active duty service back into civilian life.  Many of these veterans will face significant challenges during this time.
