Velocity Vehicles Mexico has four locations south of the border

Velocity Truck Centers (VTC) announced Monday it has partnered with Rodolfo Cabanas Vildosola and his two sons, Rodolfo Cabanas Padilla and Luis Cabanas Padilla, of Canorsa Freightliner to form Velocity Vehicles Mexico, operating in Mexicali, Tijuana, Ensenada, and San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico.

Under this new partnership, Velocity says it will now be able to offer seamless coverage to customers throughout the rapidly growing Northern Baja Mexico region and the Southwest United States supporting cross-border trucking, manufacturing and general trade.

The fourth expansion of the Velocity Truck Center network since March, and Monday's announcement makes the company the only dealership group supporting customers operating on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border. Through the agreement, Velocity says it will bring its unparalleled customer focus, including two-hour Express Assessment, Elite Support certification and equipment financing capabilities to Velocity Mexico.

“We are proud to partner with Velocity to bring their expertise in customer support, product knowledge and truck sales together with our local customer and market knowledge," says Rodolfo Cabanas Vildosola. "This is an exciting start to start our journey of becoming the preeminent dealer group in the Southwest U.S. and Northwest Mexico. No other dealership will be able to provide our seamless level of world-class support across the region.”

Add Brad Fauvre and Conan Barker, VTC co-presidents, “We couldn’t be happier to be working with Rudy and his family, who have successfully partnered in agricultural equipment distribution with RDO, the largest John Deere dealer group in the world, for over 10 years. Their long family history with trucking in Baja California, excellent locations and strong local customer knowledge will provide the perfect platform for extending VVG’s three pillars of Speed, Value and Trust into Mexico in support of our joint-customers.”

VTC now consists of 57 locations across the North America, including 11 body shops, and offering coast-to-coast coverage of commercial vehicle sales, service, parts, collision and fabrication services as well as equipment financing, the company says.

Velocity Truck Center also acquired locations in North Carolina in May, Arizona in April and Neely Coble Company of Tennessee in March.
