HOLT Truck Centers acquired Kyrish Truck Centers, becoming the third-largest International Motors dealer in the U.S., it announced Monday.
Kyrish has 20 International Motors, Fleetrite Truck Parts, Idealease and Longhorn Bus dealerships and service centers in Texas. The acquisition brings the. number of HOLT locations to 35. A previously announced acquisition of Kyrish by RWC did not close.

Kyrish, headquartered in Houston, has been family owned and operated since 1976. It sells medium-duty, heavy-duty and severe-service duty trucks. HOLT has locations in Oklahoma, North Texas and East Texas.
The 550 Kyrish Truck Center employees will become HOLT employees and continue to operate from current locations. Longhorn Bus will also continue under that brand and will remain the authorized IC Bus dealer in Texas.
