FleetPride, TruckPro inch toward ‘One Team’

FleetPride shares a merger status update with Trucks, Parts, Service, shares its key principles to successful integration of TruckPro.

“As with any integration of this scale, aligning organizational structures has been a significant undertaking,” the company tells Trucks, Parts, Service. “We’ve made strong progress over the past four months as we continue integrating our systems, processes and teams. Most importantly, we’re seeing meaningful momentum in building a shared culture centered on ‘stronger together.’ Bringing together the best of both legacy organizations, alongside a unified culture, will enable us moving forward.”

Coalescing around cultural pillars

Since the merger’s announcement, FleetPride has been intentional and thoughtful in its planning. The company says it established four key principles — prioritizing its people, accelerating growth, embracing a Stronger Together mindset and unlocking its full potential — early in the process and remaining focused on them has enabled the transition to move forward with limited obstacles.

The company also recently brought together leaders from both legacy organizations for a cultural workshop to identify and preserve the strongest elements of each entity while defining a shared path forward.

“The level of collaboration and engagement was strong,” the company says of the workshop, “and we’re building on that momentum as we continue to reinforce a unified ‘One Team’ culture across the organization.”

Sales cohesion a priority

Unifying and streamlining the company’s sales structure also has been an early point of emphasis.

The company says it recently realigned its parts and service field teams across markets, regions and divisions, and with its expanded footprint, area leaders now support both TruckPro and FleetPride locations. Early feedback is positive, the company says, and gives the company “confidence in the benefits of operating as One Team.”

As for its brick-and-mortar stores, the company says it continues to evaluate opportunities to optimize its network while maintaining strong market coverage.

“This is a disciplined, data-driven process that balances operational efficiency with maintaining the service levels our customers expect,” the company says. “Any decisions regarding our footprint are made thoughtfully, with a focus on supporting customers, strengthening local markets and positioning the business for long-term growth.”

Key milestones for the months ahead

FleetPride CEO Tom Greco described the ongoing merger as a multi-year process at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Dialogue and the company believes that’s still the case.

“We have clear priorities over the next 12 to 18 months,” the company says. “Key milestones include integrating our human resources platform and further harmonizing core business systems to create a more streamlined and efficient operation.”

FleetPride states doing so will help position the business for long-term success as a fully integrated organization and create greater opportunities for employees while delivering “a more consistent, reliable experience for customers.”
