Transtex has acquired FleetAero's assets from Knight-Swift Transportation Holdings, the companies announced Monday at the ATA's Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) meeting in Nashville.

"This acquisition strengthens our position as a leading fleet-efficiency partner," says Mathieu Desjardins, president of Transtex.

In the deal, TRANSTEX is purchasing the assets (trailer skirts) of FleetAero remaining in inventory and will become a strategic partner with Knight-Swift.

The agreement expands Transtex's aerodynamic technology platform and strengthens its position as an integrated provider of fleet efficiency solutions, the company says. It also includes a long-term partnership between Transtex and Knight-Swift that will focus on advancing fleet performance, accelerating technology validation and driving innovation.

"Fleet efficiency is a core priority for Knight-Swift," says Dave Williams, senior vice president of equipment and governmental relations at Knight-Swift. "Transtex has consistently demonstrated its ability to deliver solutions that perform in demanding, real-world conditions. We believe this long-term partnership will support continued innovation and drive measurable operational and environmental benefits across our fleet."
