CDK Global company logoCDK Global announced two changes this week in line with its goal to consistently create better and easier experiences for its heavy-duty truck customers.

The first change is a redesign of the company’s Heavy Truck website; the latter is the return of its popular User Conference—in a unique and exciting format.

According to Director of Integrated Marketing Chris Farrar, the new CDK website provides a simpler user experience, as well as concise and clear information on all the solutions CDK offers the heavy truck industry.

Changes include a new, cleaner truck-centric homepage with a distinct look and experience for the trucking market. Additionally, links and pages found within the page are designed to provide short, concise pieces of information to lead a dealer to their exact needs.

Farrar says the website push also will be supported by a new general awareness campaign that will feature advertisements through the heavy-duty dealer market, and a new promotional video touting CDK’s expanding dealer services.

“We are always looking for the best ways to provide our customers with the finest and most efficient experiences. By redesigning the Heavy Truck website, customers can easily identify and review our solutions, as well as easily contact us for product demos and more detailed product information,” says Farrar.

In bringing back a users conference, CDK says it is introducing its Heavy Truck Tour: Live 2017 to the heavy-duty truck industry. Once done as an annual three-day Users Conference, CDK says the tour format will now consist of a series of one-day sessions across the United States and Canada designed to share the latest technology advancements, tips and tricks with CDK users.

Heavy truck dealers are busy, and providing one opportunity for dealers to get up to speed on our latest technology advancements isn’t enough,” says Farrar. “The tour allows CDK to go right to its dealers. The new format provides our dealers more choice on when and where they want to learn and allows dealers to return quickly to what’s most important—selling and servicing trucks.”

The CDK Heavy Truck Tour began last week in Arlington, Texas. Future stops include Aug. 17 in Toronto, Ontario, Oct. 19 in Charlotte, N.C., Jan. 18, 2018, in Phoenix and April 19, 2018, in Chicago. Farrar says even more tour stops will be announced in the coming months.

“We are fully committed to giving the dealer the best experience possible,” Farrar says. “We are thrilled with our direction and where we are going.”
