ZED Connect, Inc., has partnered with Pana-Pacific to sell the ZED ELD electronic logging device solution through the nationwide network of heavy-duty truck dealerships, beginning this month. The ZED ELD, powered by Cummins and FMCSA compliant, is available for $200 with no monthly fee, no contract, and no hidden fees, ZED says.
“With the ELD mandate quickly approaching, we’ve seen an increase in the number of requests for a low-cost ELD device, and ZED ELD fits this niche perfectly,” says John Trenberth, Pana-Pacific president and CEO. “Our customers are part of our family, and we want to make sure we’re providing them with the best options for ELD compliant solutions – which is why we added the ZED ELD solution to our product mix.”
Pana-Pacific supplies audio and electronics for all the heavy-duty truck manufacturers, as well as the commercial vehicle manufacturers of construction, school bus, emergency, vocational and transit vehicles. The dealerships representing this large cross section of the transportation market will now be in a position to offer their customers a way to become ELD compliant via ZED ELD for a $200 one-time cost with no monthly fees, the companies say.
