In the aftermath of damage inflicted by Hurricane Harvey in Texas, McCoy Group, the parent company of Truck Country/Stoops Freightliner, McCoy NationaLease, Foodliner, Quest Liner, Foodliner Mexico, Quest Liner Mexico, and Quest Logistics, has pledged $10,000 to relief efforts, as well as the use of equipment to transport supplies to the impacted areas.
The McCoy Group will make a donation to the Houston Flood Relief Fund through a fundraiser started by NFL star J.J. Watt, as well as provide the Indiana Motor Truck Association (IMTA) the use of a Wabash Duraplate trailer as part the organization’s efforts to send supplies to affected areas in Texas, the company says.
“Our thoughts are with those impacted by Hurricane Harvey,” says Brian McCoy, McCoy Group shareholder and president of Stoops Freightliner, a subsidiary of the McCoy Group. “We are grateful to be able to play a role in supporting the efforts of J.J. Watt and IMTA in providing relief to our teammates, friends and neighbors in Texas.”
Additionally, the McCoy Group says it is providing relief funds to employees and owner operators at its Foodliner and Quest Liner operations in the Houston area who were affected by Hurricane Harvey.
