Idealease, Inc., held its 35th Annual Meeting for shareholders and Idealease location owners and employees last month at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio. The Idealease Annual Meeting was attended by about 1,000 location owners and their employees, Idealease location corporate staff, and supplier representatives.
“Over the past 35 years, we have established Idealease as a major competitive force in the lease and rental industry—we are the largest and strongest OEM dealer-based leasing enterprise in North America,” says Dan Murphy, Idealease President and CEO. “Our 35th Annual Meeting celebrated the achievements of our industry-leading sales, service and management professionals, honored the locations that excel in serving our customers, and recognized our dedicated supplier partners. Idealease is dedicated to delivering Expertise, Responsiveness and Stability that our customers can rely on, wherever and whenever we serve them.”
The highlights of this annual event included the recognition of the 134 highest achieving President’s Club professionals in sales, service and management categories; 58 Idealease locations that met exacting operating and performance standards and earned ONE Idealease status, as well as 26 locations that met additional criteria to earn the ONE Idealease Elite designation. In addition, Idealease honored Utilimaster as its Supplier of the Year, and Cummins, Inc. and Dana Corp. as Outstanding Supplier Partners for 2017.
Idealease says guest speakers for the meeting included Navistar executives Persio Lisboa, executive vice president and COO and Michael Cancelliere, president, Truck and Parts. Also, the Afterburners, training consultants who share the experiences and technique used by elite military teams, discussed how to drive accountability, increase agility and accelerate organizational performance with a commitment to flawless execution.
Business sessions addressed a wide range of topics including needs and trends in the truck leasing and rental industry, programs to increase sales, new products and marketing initiatives, safety and compliance updates, and more. Fifty suppliers exhibited products and services and met with Idealease location representatives, the company says.
Murphy concluded the meeting saying, “Idealease is ‘All Systems Go’ to win in 2018 with great new products, customer-focused sales and service strategies, and a commitment to flawless execution.”
