Red Dot adds Norris

Updated Jan 10, 2018

Red Dot Corporation has hired Fred Norris to serve as the organization’s quality manager.

In this role, Red Dot says Norris will lead Red Dot’s quality improvement initiatives to help the company achieve world-class levels of quality control.

“We are honored to have Fred joining us here at Red Dot,” says Steve Lach, Red Dot’s COO. “With more than 20 years of experience in complex manufacturing environments, as well as specialized training in Six Sigma principles, he will be an extraordinary asset to the company’s continuous improvement efforts.”

Norris joins Red Dot with a wealth of experience in quality management, most recently at Issaquah-based Mechatronics, Inc., where he was responsible for Quality Management System (QMS) compliance and inspection requirements, the company says.

“I am excited to be part of the team at Red Dot, a leader in developing mobile HVAC systems for heavy-duty vehicles,” says Norris. “I look forward to collaborating with the operations team to implement quality improvement initiatives that will strengthen Red Dot’s customer relationships and reinforce its position as the best in the industry.”
