Eaton today was named one of the World’s Most Admired Companies by Fortune magazine.
“We are incredibly honored to be recognized among the World’s Most Admired Companies for the outstanding work our employees do every day to improve the quality of life and the environment through our power management products and services,” says Craig Arnold, Eaton chairman and CEO.
Within the electronics category survey respondents recognized Eaton as an industry leader for social responsibility. Eaton ranked second in its category for people management and quality of management.
Fortune’s list of the World’s Most Admired Companies is based on company surveys and peer ratings from top executives, directors and members of the financial community. They rate enterprises in their own industry on nine criteria, from investment value and quality of management and products to social responsibility and ability to attract talent, the magazine says.
