M&K Truck Centers has promoted Josh Wolf to regional vice president of operations and promoted Mike Rutherford to district manager of all of the companyâs Michigan locations, according to an announcement.
Wolf joined M&K Truck Centers in July of 2015 and has been an effective leader holding various positions. Rutherford joined M&K Truck Centers in July 2017 as the general manager of M&K Truck Centersâ Byron Center, Mich., location, and has successfully led the team there, in addition to responsibilities for several other service locations.
Prior to joining M&K Truck Centers, Wolf worked for L&V Trailer Sales for 15 years, where he gained industry knowledge and operations-level experience. M&K Truck Centers acquired L&V Trailer Sales in July 2015 and Wolf took on the responsibility of overseeing all of M&Kâs trailer sales and service operations. He has 25 years of trucking industry experience, including sales and sales management, service and parts, as well as wide-ranging technical knowledge.
Rutherfordâs background in the trucking industry began with a family-owned commercial vehicle dealership in Lansing, Mich. He has experience working with industry leaders from several truck and trailer manufacturers and leading dealerships that sell and service Mack and Volvo trucks.
âThese internal changes are part of our planned repositioning to help M&K continually provide top-tier service and increased efficiencies across the organization and will support our strategic vision for continued growth.
