Fyda Freightliner President and CEO Tim Fyda is proud of the hard work, dedication and commitment put forth that lead to outstanding sales achievement last year.

All of this year’s Leland James recipients are veteran Fyda Freightliner sales professionals. Ron Knight joined Fyda Freightliner Youngstown in 2005 and specializes in new truck sales. He serves all types and sizes of customers including a 12,000-vehicle fleet leasing company, municipalities, small fleets, and single owner operators, the company says.
George Gauvin joined Fyda Freightliner Columbus in 2004. The company says Gauvin helps customers who are primarily in need of new medium duty vehicles, but also handles some Class 8 and Sprinter sales.
Walter Fyda, son of Bob Fyda who was Fyda’s previous president and brother of Tim Fyda, grew up around the family business and through the years worked his way through different departments. In 2013 he officially began his career in truck sales and today he works to specify the best value trucks for customers at Fyda Freightliner Pittsburgh, the company says.
